Chiropractic Care in Glenwood Springs

Chiropractic Care

Restore motion. Reduce pain. Move with confidence.

Chiropractic care helps your joints, muscles, and nervous system work together the way they’re supposed to. We combine precise adjustments with soft-tissue work, movement coaching, and simple home exercises—so relief turns into durable results.

How Chiropractic Helps

  • Frees stiff joints so you can move without fighting your body
  • Calms irritated muscles & nerves that keep guarding and spasming
  • Improves posture & mechanics to reduce future flare-ups
  • Builds strength and control where your body needs it most

Our Approach (beyond the adjustment)

  • Targeted Adjustments – Manual or instrument-assisted, matched to your comfort and needs
  • Soft-Tissue Therapy – Myofascial/trigger-point techniques to release tight, reactive tissue
  • Neuromuscular Re-education – Simple coaching to retrain how you move
  • Mobility & Stability Exercise – Core, hips, and shoulders for lasting change
  • Helpful Modalities – When appropriate: cold laser, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, whole body vibration

Not every patient needs every tool. We’ll personalize your plan to your goals and how you respond.

What to Expect

Visit 1: Evaluate & Start a Plan

We listen, test movement, and explain what’s driving your pain. Imaging is case-by-case (only when it helps decision-making). If appropriate, treatment often starts on day one.

Typical Visit Flow (15–30 min):

Focused adjustments → soft-tissue as needed → a couple of targeted exercises you can actually do at home.

Frequency & Timeline:

Early on, visits may be 1–2×/week, then taper as you improve. You’ll know the plan, milestones, and expected timeline up front.

Who It’s For

Back or neck pain • Headaches • Mid-back tightness • Shoulder or knee pain • Sciatica (with or without decompression) • Sports or overuse injuries • Posture or desk-related pain • Pregnancy-related discomfort • Teens with sport/posture issues

Safety & Comfort

Adjustments are gentle and controlled. Hearing a “pop” isn’t required for a good result—there are quiet, low-force options. If a technique doesn’t fit your body or comfort level, we’ll use another approach.

Chiropractic Care FAQs

Will I be adjusted on the first visit?

Often yes—when it’s appropriate after the evaluation.

Do I have to keep coming forever?

No. We set a plan with clear goals and end points, then transition you to self-care.

Will it hurt?

Most patients feel relief and easier motion. Mild soreness (like after a workout) can happen and usually fades quickly.

Is chiropractic covered by insurance?

Coverage varies. We verify benefits and explain any out-of-pocket costs before you start.
